CC Well-Being, Inc. is an active member of the National Wellness Institute and throughout the year receives resources to share with our clients. We are happy to share the 2018 National Wellness Institute Health and Wellness Observance Calendar. Check it out and if you need some assistance don't hesitate to call us. Here are some ideas we developed for customers last year:
January - Blood Donor Month - we organized an American Red Cross Blood Drive with the local Chamber of Commerce to service an entire office complex
February - American Heart Month - this was the theme for one of our onsite customers. Our Health Coach developed nutrition, exercise, and stress management group and individual events.
April - Stress Awareness Month - we developed an interactive wellness workshop entitled, ”Limit Your Stress While Learning Cognitive Restructuring" as a kick off to an eight week "How to Survive and Thrive in Today's Workplace".
June - National Safety Month - we launched an Integrated Safety, Occupational Health and Well-Being program for an international company. We participate in safety training and address the effects of work conditions that may affect employees' well-being. We stress mindfulness in the workplace.
October - Eat Together, Eat Better Month - we developed a 30 day challenge with resources, recipes, and the value of families eating together concentrating on healthy food options versus take out and drive through meals.
