What is a day without stretching? Tired muscles, joint pain, and stiffness.  Research has shown that individuals who engage in workplace stretching can improve their flexibility, posture and their overall well-being.  However, there is more!  It has been proven that periodic workplace stretching may reduce pain by up to 72 percent. However, the best part is a bit of exercise in the middle of your work day can relieve both physical and mental stress. 


I am happy to share the following 2 minute video from SHRM to assist you in beginning a stretching at your workplace.  All you need is chair!   Perhaps you can share with your Wellness Committee or start your next staff meeting with a good stretch!
